Summary: Works great except when I want to use the open panel to feed a piece of paper in & says I have a paper jam & I do not. Have to open up copier & close, put paper back in & keep trying until it except it. could not find where you can cancel print job to put paper in tray instead of open feed.
Summary: Okay, so I'm not a fan of Brother printers. But, this one does it's job in a capable fashion. The printer tray is too small (doesn't hold a full ream of paper, but then, most don't anymore anyway). The drivers are a little tempermental. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers a couple times to keep the scanner function working (read: frustrating!). Bottom line, you get what you pay for - right?
Summary: Everything works well, but the manual feed tray is very finicky. Envelopes and paper have to be feed just so, or the machine gives and error message of "paper jam" when there is no paper jam. I use manual feed often and this gets annoying.
Summary: I have had this for about 2 years and it's got a lot of quirks, but if you !!!!read the instructions before you try to set it up!!!! and obey a few other rules I'm about to tell you because the instructions got it wrong, then some of the quirks can be overcome. New rules you won't find in the instructions: 1. ONLY use 20-lb laser paper. 24-lb or photo paper are TOO THICK and it jams. 2. ONLY use the big paper drawer on the bottom, keep the printer in automatic feed mode.
Summary: Aside from being a great color laser printer and scanner, I had to dock Brother one star for straight up lying about the duplexing capabilities of this printer. This machine DOES NOT duplex. How do they get around that? By saying it has "manual duplexing." Basically, it pops up with on-screen instructions telling you to insert paper into the manual tray, print, then take those sheets and place them into the main paper tray.
Summary: Brother tech support sucks. People there DO NOT help you. So be tech savvy and good and searching for clues on the Internet if you buy this. Unit does not fax 100% of the time with digital cable. It faxes about 30% of the time, the rest of the time it displays "Comm Error." Sadly, you cannot adjust the baud rate to troubleshoot and try and determine the best rate at which it might work w/o errors on digital.
Summary: I bought this machine to replace my aging DCP-9040 and am sorely disappointed. The document feeder is terrible. It thinks that it is jammed every time I try to feed an envolope or sheet in the feeder. It also requires you to put sheets in one at a time. I recommend that you look elsewhere, if you are going to be doing anything except very basic printing and scanning.
Summary: The Brother MFC9325CW provides nice quality printing however the sheet feeder for copying and scanning is very temperamental. Almost every time I use that tray to feed multiple page documents I either have to stand there and make sure only 1 page feeds at a time. If I place in feeder and walk away I have had to redo every time. Very disappointed in that feature - which for me was the main reason for switching from an older Brother MFC that I loved.
