Summary: So I've had this thing for about a year now. Would I buy it again? Nope. On its best days, it approaches adequacy. More often than not, though, it's difficult. It spits out streaky and/or spotted pages whenever I try anything with color.
Summary: This looked so good and has quickly shown its flaws. The main trouble I have had in the two months I have owned it is that the slot for feeding documents for double sided printing consistently sends a message that there is a paper jam, when there is none.
Summary: Nothing works properly. Have purchased Brother faxes & printers only, for over 20 years. This model represents a NEW LOW for BROTHER - Won't take thicker than average paper & can't feed it straight. Don't think I will consider another Brother product in the future.
Summary: I need to exchange this unit because the ink toner of all colors are smearing in the side of paper, I have email Brother support thou they have instruction to clear up but still problem is existing and i email them again but didn't responded anymore. Please take action to this matter
Toner Issues / Completely Gave out after 15 months

Summary: Purchased this printer a bit over a year ago and it completely quit working last week (No Error, the screen simply said 'replace toner'...we replaced the toner...nothing...we replaced the toner again...nothing).
The machine toner sensor is defective or it is designed to sell toner.

Summary: I have only used the black ink part to any extent. After very little use, the printer stopped and the message that it was out of toner appeared. I replaced the black unit and after approximately 65 copies the printer again stopped working and showed that it was out of black toner.
Summary: Do not buy this if you need to print envelopes. They need to be fed Manually ... ONE at a time. Even feeding carefully one at a time, frequently get a paper jammed message ... which it seems can only be resolved by turning it off and on.
