Summary: I would expect that after spending about $600+ on the printer and unused toner, I would get more than a couple hundred pages out of it. Brothers customer service is completly useless, except to tell me to spend more money fixing a problem prone printer. I'll stick with lexmark or Cannon.
Pros: Fairly fast printing for the price range. Price is pretty low for a color laser printer. Easy network setup.
Cons: Toner is expended very quickly. Color is mediocre at best, but black comes through nice. Paper jams on occasion. Now the bad news. After 2 years of very infrequent use, IT BRICKED. I unpluged it to move in a new cabinet and when I pluged it back in...Nothing, completely dead. I called brother and...
Summary: This was an anti-HP purchase when HP decided not to support Windows 7 for my perfectly fine color laser printer. So I picked this one. The Brother MFC-9129CN has several issues that really tick me off: 1. The life for each toner cartridge is extremely short.
Summary: I bought this printer to replace an HP Ink Jet and even though the printer is better....you better hope that you never have a problem because they have the WORST Customer Service on the Planet!!!
Summary: The Brother 9120CN has very limited adjustment for making copies - you can't lighten it enough to get a clean copy of a newspaper article - something my old HP 2840MFP handled fine. Normal computer print is OK, as it would be from most any laser printer, but the manual feed slot is poor.
Summary: This is an OK multifunction printer except for one thing - the manual paper feed doesn't work very well. If you need to occasionally print a few sheets on different sized paper and you don't want to change out the paper that's already loaded you can feed one sheet at a time through the manual feed...

Summary: I purchased this printer for a new start-up business. I only needed the printer for text and simple graphics. Out of the box, it was easy to set up and worked perfectly. Everything was working well until suddenly a message appeared telling me to replace the toner in all 3 of the color cartridges.
