Summary: It didn't work properly. I called Brother and what a pain that was! After being disconnected 3 times with customer service and explaining the problem 3 times finally have it resolved. Brother is sending a replacement unit. Let's see if it arrives ? Just did this yesterday. I'm hopeful.
Absolutely the worst computer peripheral I've ever owned

Summary: I cannot say enough bad things about this printer. It's expensive, uses ink faster than an airplane uses fuel, takes an eternity to begin printing, smudges ink on the corners of most documents and jams literally 99% of the time. If you plan on using any paper besides the lightest smallest weight paper, this thing will print one page and jam. You will fix the jam in the paper tray, you will then have a 5% chance of it printing followed by a guaranteed jam.
Summary: The printer has some nice features but the quality is far from what I am used to. I have worked in the I.T. field for 16 years and have never seen anything like this. The first time I printed some color documents on it I noticed the quality was not as bold as on the HP laser printers, but it was ok. The documents were in my house for about two days then I took them and put in a folder and put in my car as I was going to a meeting.
WINNER OF ONE OF THE WORSE MACHINES AND SERVICE F+

Summary: I have had many Brother MFC machines. They finally came up with a winner (i.e. Toyota). From the first time I used this unit, paper jam after paper jam, after paper jam and there was never any paper jammed. SO...I guess "You can't fix stupid" and I have the dumb machine. Only help I can give you as a potential buyer....STAY AWAY from this one.
Summary: All I can say is toners keep spewing powder causing lines down paper. Drum units have packed up after a few months and colours are faded and drab. Constant errors and in a nutshell this machine is a pain in the backside. Wish I had never purchased it!!! Don't bother!!!
Summary: Noch 13 Monaten musste man schon das Transferband wechslen, was so nebenbei € 200.- kostet.
