Brother Printer does not work with iMac because Brother does not have new drivers for OS 10.10

Summary: All my brother printers (I have bought five) have been good to great. As is this MFC8950DW -- at least as far as I can tell. You see, I bought it for my Apple Office. We have three 26" iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. WE upgraded everything to OS 10.10 about the same time as we ordered the printer through Amazon. Made this clear when we spoke to Amazon and also brother -- getting to talk to a live human being at Brother is becoming more and more time consuming.
Summary: I bought the 8950DW just three weeks ago. My total page count was 599. I have many Brother printers in my house and small office. This machine broke after one week when one of the small plastic gears on the paper tray broke two of the gear teeth, preventing the paper from being lifted to the feed mechanism. I contacted Brother directly hoping to get either a new gear or a new tray.
Summary: Our business purchased this printer for daily use of printing, copying and faxing at our veterinary hospital. We replaced a Canon Imageclass D1170 with this unit. Our previous printer lasted 3 years and always had consistently readable print quality. Within one month, we had very fuzzy words on printing. Brother sent out a repair person but the problem is recurring again within 10 months (just out of warranty).
Summary: I have all Brother products in my office and this one is very nice, fast and prints well. I have had this printer in service since January 2013 and it started out great but now will wrinkle every other page we print out of it. If we print duplex it will wrinkle about every page. I have replaced the toner and the drum and still have the problem.
