Summary: Seemed to work ok for the first 6 months. Then the streaks started. We only use Brother OEM supplies purchased here on amazon. The drum has excess toner built up on the right 1-2" of the drum. I contacted Brother support about this twice and was told to just replace the drum (at my expense). My problem with that "solution" however is that this drum only has 5,125 pages on it. On the product page for the DR720 it lists the rating as 30,000 pages.
Excerpt: Do not buy this machine. Every 4-5 months you will have to replace the drum and it is $150. Plus everytime the drum went out I had to replace the fuser also. Both times it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay for the service but now it is out of warranty and if it happens again it will be at least a $200+ repair (the part costs that). Brother wants you to buy this so they can make a lot more money off you buying the drum that goes out at 30000 pages.
Summary: The first thing I tried to configure after connecting to the network and printing / scanning a few test items was getting connected to Google Cloud Print. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. Finally, I called support. After taking all the information I already supplied when registering the product and telling them that "no, I don't want to receive any more product updates" I was connected to the "Tech Support".
THEY BREAKDOWN AND THEN YOU CAN'T GET WARRANTY SERVICE

Summary: I actually love these printers BUT - I have had one go bad just after one year's use. It would have cost over $250 to fix it so I gave up and bought another one. NOW -AFTER TWO MONTHS - the fuser melted and the the roller that presses against that ripped. No problem (you would think) - it is under "warranty". Well try getting warranty from Brother. I spent SEVERAL HOURS on hold trying to get someone to JUST ANSWER THE PHONE.
Bought in January, duplex has never worked, jams or creases page every time

Summary: Bought this late January based on great reviews, wireless works flawlessly, scanning to users was easy to set up and use. Recently started printing duplex, hasn't worked correctly yet, jams or creases paper every time. We're waiting to see how responsive service will be.
Summary: If you have VOIP get another machine. After spending hours trying to get new firmware downloaded I continued to run into FAX receive issues. Finally resolved this, then ran into toner cartridge issues that still persist. Brother Tech Support should have replaced the machine.....
Summary: Five months after paying over $600 dollars for this machine we are faced with a lot of paper jams. i called Brother and wasted 2 hours going through cleaning routines which I have done on my own to begin with but they would not trust me anyway. At end they asked to replace the drum and a new toner to go along with ( been using genuine brother products). Spend about 300 dollars for that and I am still having the same problems .
Problem using this printer with Google Cloud Printing

Summary: This printer is advertised as Google Cloud Print ready. It isn't! The iPrint&Scan app for Android devices is also not a good product. I contacted Brother support about not working with Google Cloud and the guys plainly told me that they don't support Google Cloud Printing. Then I asked why they claim to be Google Cloud compliant on the device and the guy just wouldn't understand any of the questions.
Summary: Bought this for small business March 2013. 7 months later Fuser assembly broke and Brother just happens not to cover this part under their 1 year warranty. Paid over $600 for a printer that is useless. I normally turn to Brother for their printers but will start looking at other manufacturers after finding out that they pick and choose what parts they will cover. Picked up a HP at Staples - hope it lasts longer than this product.
