Pros: I just was reading the reviews on this and thought I would give my two cent even though it's discontinued.(they have newer models now) This is one of the best printers ever made ;) *.Why because it's awesome.. why because it scans.. has network capable memory cards(could make a little NAS out of ...
Cons: like any printer they make money off the print cartridges, but that's why you need a CIS system. It works amazing.
Summary: IT'S THE EXACT SAME PRINTER & PRINT HEAD AS THE FLAWED BROTHER MFC-665CW ! ! ! BEWARE !
Pros: Works great....until the print head gives out. A known issue with both this and it's little brother, the MFC-665CW....identical printers except for the antenna. Same print head, everything.
Cons: Bought the MFC-665CW just under a year ago. After about 6 months, the printer started claiming the ink-paks were dry. Replaced them at considerable expense, continued to clamor for new cartridges. After Googling the printer, found out about the print head issues for the 665CW. rendering the print...
Summary: AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I ordered one for my mom today and ordering another for a friend!!!
Pros: I love this fax machine so far, has an abundance if features. i particarlly love the conversation recording and fax/pc feature. time will tell if this hold up i believe brother has a good rep. tons of features wonderful cordless phone, good instructions, built in ansering machine and easy wireles...
Cons: faxing agf needs to be fed on scanner bc scanning multiple sheets agf results in multiple sheets being fed at once. could be intimidate by multiple ink cartridges but my system is keep in black and white unless important and only replace black ink.
Summary: You cant go wrong with this refurbish all-in-one, its definitly the best printer i ever owned for the price.
Pros: Everything you need and it prints great. Love the tilt color screen and the quick scan/fax feature where you dont need to open the scanner lid. Cordless phone is a bonus to and menu's are easy to navigate.
Cons: I think the scanner lid feels alittle weak when opening so i gave 4 stars.
Summary: I have not printed on anything else other than standard letter paper so I don't know how it handles envelopes or other media. I have not printed any photos so I don't know about the quality of pictures, but I didn't purchase it for that purpose mainly the fax, scanning and cordless phone feature
Pros: Set up was a breeze. The wireless connection was easy to set up even on a secure network. I was surprised at the short time it took from out of the box to printing the first document. Documentation and set up instructions were adequate both in print and on cd. The unit itself is lightweight and i...
Cons: paper tray and door for ink compartment is filmsy, but not much else to speak of
Summary: Cheap made, you can tell the construction is dirt cheap..i get paper jams often also....i would not recomend buying unless you looking for headaches..
Pros: It's an all in one printer....thats about it
Cons: This printer is very cheaply made and will burn a hole in your pocket. I had it for few months and now jsut writing this review so no one buys this junk.....I ran out of the color inks yesterday and was attempting to just print black which was FULL Cartridge...Guess what....until you replace the ...
Summary: Can easily use ink other than Brother which saves quite a bit. I've never used the answering machine functionality. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of photos; should be good enough for any one doing snapshots. The 4x6 paper feeder is nice for pictures too.
Pros: It does everything it's supposed to do well. Brother has drivers for Linux so it works with all my home systems.
Summary: This is not a review as much as a comment on Brother's total inability to COMMUNICATE. It seems to me that it may be of interest to potential customers what paper sizes Brother printers will accommodate. Typically this is listed in the Paper Handling portion of the specs. Not with Brother, though.
