Summary: The Brother MFC8510DN model is not a wireless machine. Upon first use, it clearly does not operate wireless. Just in case I was wrong, I figured calling Brother's Customer Service would be wise. It was as they told me this model is not wireless. The model that is, MFC8710DN.
Summary: While the printer/scanner worked initially, after four months the scanner no longer was accessible for more than 3 minutes and only after I turned the machine off and then on. Three minutes later it disappeared from access. I spoke with the help staff at Brother.
Summary: I have boutht this printer Dec.2013. We use this printer for our office purpose. First one year, this printer did work good for everythings. Now this printer has a problme on the printing of duplex. When I make a print of duplex, there are an wrinkle of left side of paper.
Excerpt: Love the Brother Printer; however, it doesn't allow you to set it up on WIFI : (I'd have to spend almost another $100 to get that option. It's very confusing with the way they write the description in the ad. It leads you to believe it is a WIFI printer.
Summary: I have 6 of the 8510dn and over 50 of the MFC-8710dw. All the MFC-8510dn have damaged and torn rollers in the back of the printer so it wrinkles all the paper. dont have this problem on any of the MFC-8710dw printers. Must be a design flaw.
Summary: The detailed review below focuses on the Scan to E-Mail feature primarily. The printer and copier performs very well in our small office environment. We do not use the fax feature. In my personal opinion, Brother makes the most cost efficient and dependable laser printers.
Excerpt: We recently replaced our previous printer with this Brother Multi-function Printer. We were pleasantly surprised at its more compact size and the amount of functions it has. It can fax, scan and do a great many copying projects.

Summary: Reasonable house hold multifunction printer with the ability to print on both side and network client features. This print can only manage US Letter sized paper at the largest. I have an older and superior model which has much better build quality.
Summary: I'm not going to repeat what you've read in all the other positive reviews. I love the machine with one small exception: The machine warned me to change the toner cartridge WAY before it needed to be changed.
Excerpt: If you want a trouble-free copier that lasts for at least two years, I wouldn't recommend this one, even if it is a great deal. This printer was used in a small office as the main copier/scanning machine. The double-sided printing capability and speed were great.
