Summary: Brother All-in-ones were recommended to me and the machine does well with straight copying, faxing, etc.; however, I need to print a quantity (250) envelopes for a bulk mailing. I wanted to do this on the Brother machine from my computer. Well...the machine will only print up to 4 envelopes at a time. So, I'm back to hand feeding a copy machine.
Summary: I got this 2 years ago and never had a problem, my team and myself we print a lot on daily basis, all what you need to do is to replace the toner once you print over 8000 pages !!! very happy with it.
Summary: I love this printer especially with the 2nd paper tray that I keep 8 1/2" X 14" paper in it because I printed many real estate documents for closings and the printer will select the correct paper size for me.
Summary: My cheap Lexmark finally broke down and I had an excuse to get a good Brother machine. Too bad it didn't happen sooner. This machine does almost everything, and it does all that I need, faster and with good quality. This model does not copy one 2 sided page to one 2 sided page; but I can deal with that. There are four user manuals to read, and they all have some information the others don't have.
Overall ok but u had to spend money to make it work properly.

Summary: The model I bought doesn't properly work. It only works on the USB A to B wire. It doesn't work on the network. I think the network card is bad! It's unfortunate. If I could return it I would have. Other than that it works nice.
Summary: I'll cut to the specifics of what one may be worried about after you own one for a long time. First off it just works. I turn it on, it warms up in few seconds and stands at the ready. Older machines tend to jam and grab more than one piece of paper in a fax or copy job, forcing you to start the whole job over.
