Excerpt: It it a GREAT multifunction printer. The print quality is excellent and it was easy to set up..Even though it is a refurbished unit it looks and runs like a bran new unit.If I had to do it again I'd get the same unit.Nice Machine!
Excerpt: I have 6 of these printers that I bought new and they all worked great. Since only the refurbished ones are available now I started ordering the refurbished ones. I really like this model but so far 2 out of three of them do not function properly and it will not let me send faxes most of the time and sometimes it will not let me receive them either.
Excerpt: This is a great machine that is replacing my MFC6800, which is still working and will get moved to my hobby room for printing out genealogy data. This model seems to be faster on the page per minute speed (I don't remember the 6800 ppm) , is more quiet for the office (less background noise while talking on the phone) and the clarity is very good.
Excerpt: We purchased another of these units and it has been ok, but the second one not so good as it crunches paper in the auto feeder when sending faxed or coping. The resolution is ok. The user instructions in the unit are not user friendly. Simple things like changing the resolution of your print out takes searching to find the option. Having a common cartridge among printers is a good value, but the operation of "features" leaves a bit to be desired.
