Summary: This is a serviceable printer, the reason I've rated it so highly is that the ink is not chipped, so it's easy to use cheap aftermarket ink with it. For this reason I try to purchase one of these whenever I can scrounge one used.
Summary: While not perfect, this printer is amazing compared to HP, Epson, Canon and Lexmark printers I've owned in the past. A few points. The print heads are not on the ink cartridges. This means ink cartridges are cheaper. It also means the print heads needs to be cleaned regularly.
Summary: I've had this printer for over a year. It works very well. The built-in networking is a big plus. Print speed is what you'd expect for an inkjet. Print quality is very good. I like having separate color (3) and black cartridges. I've been using non-Brother inks and the quality is still good.
Summary: We ordered this Brother online because of its features for the price. (It was replacing a Lexmark that had not lasted very long.) We are so pleased with this printer. It is compact but filled with features; fast and quiet as well. Bought another for college student. Highly recommend.
Summary: Once installed and operating I found this unit to be an excellent choice. I love the wireless capability. More important are the multiple uses. The color copies are sharp. Although I have a scanner and another printer I wanted a second device that had all those abilities.
Summary: I chose this all-in-one over the comparable Epson and Canon models because it was a machine that did what it said without a lot of fancy gimmicks. After using it for 6 months now, I'm glad I made the right choice. Pros: 1. It's a solid, well built machine that has held up well. 2.
