  • Summary: These printers are affordably priced, and the print quality isn't bad, but you're going to pay for it in support. That's the catch...
  • Pros: It does a decent job printing and scanning, but...
  • Cons: if you ever need support, good luck. My co-worker was reloading paper into it, and broke the paper tray when inserting it back into the printer. I know she wasn’t trying to be forceful with it; the thing is just cheaply made. So I called tech support to see if they could send me a new paper tray....

  • Summary: I will nerver but a shotty Brothers any thing ever again.

  • Cons: I had 2 Brothers mfc not this exact model. But they both came with bad drivers disk and the fequency repair on both were horible Also picture quality was awfull I will never buy a brothers again.

  • Summary: I've been using mine as a scanner, since I refuse to waste another dime on ink for this pig. I'm told this unit has the print head as part of the printer, rather than most HPs, which put the print head on the ink cartridge.
  • Pros: Perfect size, feature set and price
  • Cons: Ink jets clog, making it no longer a printer/copier/fax.

  • Summary: Was so annoyed when it told me it was out of ink after barely using it (over a period of about 3 months) that I just replaced it with a different printer for a few bucks more than a new set of cartridges. With all the problems, it's just not worth any more frustration.
  • Pros: lots of features and functions. Compact size.
  • Cons: Gobbles up ink even when you don't print anything. Network printing died after a month or so, had to revert to USB. Fax usually only works if I unplug the unit completely, then plug back in before faxing. It gives meaningless error messages and beeps when it fails. (I have VOIP, so may not work w...
