Excerpt: After having had 2 HP All-In-Ones, with the scanner on both deciding to not work on the same day (one was a back up, so wasn't that great), we contacted HP for help. Forget that. All they wanted to do was sell an extended warranty. We decided we've had enough of them and are trying this model out. It does a great job of printing, but has had some serious paper jams that were a bit scary.
Excerpt: It tends to get interrupted in the middle. The printer is ok, nothing special- just office quality, not very good for printing photos. And it also does some strange things. Once in a while it just starts readjusting itself and working all by itself. It doesn’t ask you before performing the operation. I few times it actually woke me up in the morning, so it was a bit scary actually. The scanner is pretty good quality for home use.
Summary: I haven't printed out any pictures yet or used the media slots. I had a little trouble setting up the receiving fax but I believe that's because I have a VOIP phone line and needed to change the settings. I find it somewhat strange that the connection for the USB is underneath the scanner, inside the printer. The only other feature I would have liked is wireless or bluetooth printing capabilites...
Summary: Where else can you get a fax, scan, copy and photo capture for $70. It works fine, easy to set up and use. If you read the instructions carefully you will have no problems. I had a black ink problem with white lines, but I just went to the trouble shooting section of the manual and it tells you how to clean the black ink only. It copies faster than my last model MFC-240. Its also quieter. It also has a sleep mode and is energy efficient.
Great for common document printing / scanning / faxing

Summary: I bought this all-in-one system on sale for $50 and it is working really well since then. The starter ink cartridge has lasted more than 50 pages and I am still waiting for it to finish up. This is great for regular document printing. scanning and faxing. I wouldn't expect a machine with this price to produce life-like photos in the first place but it does a decent job. Pros: 1. Great quality & value for money invested 2.
Summary: A nice product. Amazing that I can purchase this for < $60! Great quality too. Just looking at it....felling it.... and watching it work, I am a - maze - ed!!! It copies, scans, prints, and..... faxes? Hey I haven't faxed anything in about 5 years. Nowadays I scan and email, so for me, this option is not needed. Anyway, it does a nice job for your day to day black and white printing. It is quick and it is quiet.
Summary: Good product for its price. One great feature is when ink finishes for example the black, that same said cartridge alone has to be changed. There are some other printers that when a particular ink is finished the entire cartidge has to be changed resulting a high expenses to cover.Great for office and home use.
