Summary: Is doing an excellent job. Primarily used for scanning. Is a useful tool, easy to use independently as a copier. Haven't used it for photo-capture but believe that it would do this as well as it scans and prints. The Brother Creative Studio link provides templates for a variety of uses.
Summary: Have just set up this printer and printed out my first picture which was of very high quality. It was very easy to set up the wireless connection. I like the fact it is so compact for what it does, is easy to use (instructions clear with lots of good diagrams) and it looks robust. I have put mine on top of an IKEA set of A2 size drawers on castors as the printer fits on top of it perfectly and it makes it easy to access the paper and store any prints.
Summary: I have for the last 10years used the brilliant HP Deskjet 1120c. When I switched to Macs, it began to mis-behave (probably due to age). I desperately needed something that would print A3 reliably. The fact that this photocopies and scans is an enormous benefit. I have had it for about a month. Reliable, fast and quiet. Well worth the office space it takes up (not small).
Summary: Excellent printer. A3 is quite fast and I agree that the ink lasts for months even with heavy usage. Only slightly odd thing was I could only get it to do A3 scans by programming a customisable button on the CC3 control centre software that comes with it. I just couldn't get it to do it from the machine (could be my ignorance).
Summary: This is a replacement printer as the first one to arrive would not respond to set up and after conversations with technical help at Brother directly they diagnosed a mechanical fault. Fair play to Brother, they immediately said we will organise a replacement, but confirmed later they had no stock, gave me a reference to quote to Amazon, who arranged a very quick response replacement, from Friday to Monday I received the replacement.
Summary: I took a chance on this considering I ordered it sight unseen from Italy based on two things: Cost, I am so amazed that I bought a A3 scanner printer and copier for the price. All of the other A3 scanners I looked at were 3 times the price, and only scanned! Reviews: I read mostly positive reviews and saw a good video review that made me buy.
Summary: I had the printer up and running within half hour of delivery. Print and copying quality is good, and scanning is nice and easy. The set up for multi page scanning on the flat bed uses Paper Port, which came with the machine, and this was also easy to set up. I am very very pleased.
Summary: I must admit I was a little worried when I ordered this printer about the size of the machine and the quality as I had no experience of Brother equipment. I needn't have worried, for an A3 printer this machine is not very much bigger than my old A4 Epson and the quality is excellent. Also if you search around on Amazon for print cartridges you can get a real bargain. The machine also scans, copies and faxes (connected to telephone line).
Summary: Really wanted a A3 scanner and printer but had limited space to keep it. This seemed like a good little printer and so far has been brilliant. I went to the Brother website which has a useful comparison page to allow you to chose the right model for you. Was quite proud that I managed to set it up to be wireless all on my own (it was a little more complicated than I thought it'd be).
