copier exceeds expectations

Lawrence Orlewicz, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: We purchased this unit to replace an ancient analog copier. The Brother is less than half the size of the other unit and provides multiple functions. We are very pleased with the performance.

Not reliable

Amazon Customer, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: The quality of the copies that are produced is acceptable but not outstanding. My older Canon dedicated copier made better quality copies, and was faster. This may be the result of the compromise inherent in a multifunction machine compared to a machine that is dedicated to do one task.

Everything but scanning photos

Aleksandar Totic, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: My 8065 arrived a few days ago. I bought it to replace my inkjet printer, and a scanner. I am happy with: * installation: easy, for such a complex device. The installer asked all the right questions, and just worked on all my PCs. * print quality: great.

Pretty good, but the paper curl is a problem

Steven Chen, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: As a public high school teacher, making copies at school takes a long time--the waiting lines and the non-collating abilities of the school's old machines were problematic. I bought this multifunction machine to function strictly as a copier for my house.

After one year of use: Excellent quality product and value for money

Oilgarch, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: I've used this copier/printer for one year and am very happy with it. We share it over network among the whole family, between one Mac and several PCs. The functionality that comes at such a low price is amazing. I am especially fond of its automatic scanner sheet feeder which is build very solidly.

SO glad I bought this!!

Mezzorama, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: I purchased this for my voice studio. It's a little big BUT I needed it. I spent so much time running to Kinko's doing photocopies for studio recitals, or copying music for students until their order came in (because after all, I don't want to violate copyright!

Relaible Workhorse.

MSD, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: This has been a reliable workhorse for more than five years. Envelope printing has always been a bit of an issue with this model. Otherwise, there are no mentionable complaints.

Great Printer with Buggy PC Software

freetolio, Amazon
20 September 2006
  • Summary: I bought this to use as a network printer, but the buggy control center software bundled with it only managed to connect to the printer on some of the Windows computers I own. The story doesn't end there though.
