Summary: The device operates reliably with my bluetooth audio receiver and even fits through the bottom slot in the thick clear plastic case that is available for the NWZ-A800 series Walkman. However, it disables the volume control on the Walkman, which is a major drawback for me. If you want to adjust the volume, you must do so on the receiving device. Also the sound quality is noticeably lower than when using a cable, even in the HQ mode.
Summary: I use this transmitter with the Speck Tough Skin case on. I use it with the Motorola S9 headphones. No more wires to catch on anything. It's great. Pairing is easy. I used it once in my Jeep with an RCA bluetooth receiver stereo.
Pros: Adds Functionality, Easy to Set Up, Fits Well, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: I use the bluetooth adapter on my video Walkman at work. The headphone wire always got in my way or pulled on the headphones. The adapter works good, it plugs right in to the bottom of the walkman and doesn't seem to draw too much power from the walkman's built in battery. The only drawback I've noticed is that if I turn my head to the right I sometimes lose the signal for a split second.
Summary: This is AWESOME, it pairs in no time with anything, and is exactly the same size of my network walkman. I can use it outdoors with my sony wireless headphones, and they are perfect. This is of that kind of devices "plug and forget". The design is very simple and looks really cool, actually smaller than I though. This is a GREAT poduct.
Summary: I bought one of these last autumn in Japan (at about the same price as shown here on Amazon)to go with my (JP only) Sony NW-S706 4 gb player and a set of Sony BT21G bluetooth 'phones. This little gem works quite well with the NW-S and even better with my newer Euro-spec Sony NW-A808 8 gb flash player.
