Summary: I use these speakers mainly for listening to podcasts in bed or in the shower, and for these purposes, these are excellent speakers. For use in bed, I want something that will not consume power when the audio stops, since I may be asleep when that happens, and for the shower, I want speakers that do not use any external power, so that I don't risk electrocuting myself. As passive speakers that work the same way as earphones, these meet both of these requirements.
Summary: I bought these to use as auxilliary speakers on a really nice old radio with a speaker that had blown. I was highly disappointed by the lack of volume they could generate. I was not expecting Fender Amp volume, but wow! I also tried them on a laptop computer and they really disappointed me there too. Even less volume than the built-in speaker on the unit can generate. They are probably fine for some applications..
Summary: I have an old pair of Sony passive speakers that work great with my mp3 player. These work just as well. Happy with my purchase and glad to have found some that do not require batteries! These are great for my kids to use & not worry about the music being too loud.
Summary: I LOVE THE LITTLE SPEAKERS. I USE THEM WITH MY SONY MP3 PLAYER WHILE ON THE COMPUTER OR RELAXING IN BED OR SLEEPING. THE SOUND IS DECENT I HAD THEM FOR OVER 2 YRS AND THEY STILL SOUND GREAT I HAVE A SMALL ISSUE WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN THEM UP TO THE MAX THE MUSIC WITH FADE IN AND OUT LIKE A PAUSE IN AND OUT (FOR EXAMPLE YOU HEAR MUSIC AND THEM YOU DON'T AND IT CONTIUES TO DO THAT UNTIL YOU TURN IT DOWN ONE BAR FROM MAX AND YOU'RE FINE AFTER THAT.
Summary: These are great kid speakers. They have plenty of sounds without being too loud, are the right size to pack in a tote bag, and best of all... need no batteries! I had some for 10+ years that finally gave out and got these to replace them. Great buy.
