Mine caught fire

Mil, Amazon
1 August 2013
  • Summary: Noisy sound and caught fire. Mine caught fire in a cold room without touching any walls or furniture. Don't buy those dangerous BBQ speakers.

When quality out does cost

blackmask770, Ebay
27 August 2012
  • Summary: These speakers provide a cocophony of sound to the owner. It is the best single person use speaker system out there. the base pounds against your soul as you move to the melody. The volume will leave your ears breathless but parched until the next time you can enjoy the ringing of your muse styles.

Nice to look at!

bduran, Amazon
5 April 2012
  • Summary: Meh, is okay. I expected better. Sound quality is so so. The wiring is kind of touchy so try to keep it away from the kids or static may occur when touched.

Pretty nice if you get a good price

Amazon Customer, Amazon
20 February 2012
  • Summary: I picked up 3 of these systems for $11.99 per unit at a discount store today. I do custom electronics for a living, and I agree with the more technical reviews of this system. As far as the long term relaiability, I will just to see what happens.

Don't do it.

Joe, Amazon
25 December 2011
  • Summary: I bought mine, and everything was good for about a month, and a half, and the bass got really low which I didn't have it turned up the whole way up (I like rock and roll oldies)it would come in and out, and after a while it started to buzz.

Phillips spa2360 Multimedia 2.1 Speakers

letterbomb, ReviewStream
30 October 2011
  • Excerpt: I bought these for about $25 at Walmart.com a couple of months ago. I needed a new speaker setup, but I like bass so a normal 2.0 wasn’t something I was looking for, and a 5.1 is too many speakers, so a 2.1 was perfect. I heard some good …

Broke after a couple months

Timothy Orsino, Amazon
23 July 2011
  • Summary: These speakers were relatively good for the price. The subwoofer wasn't as powerful as I imagined. Plus, after a couple months, the audio input cord broke (the cord from the speakers to the computer). The metal head became removed from the cord, and was rendered useless.

Fantastic! (for the price of course)

News, Amazon
16 July 2011
  • Summary: No Super Highs (16k) Great Highs (14K) Mediocre Mids (10K-250) Mediocre Bass(200-160) Great Sub Bass (150-60) You will need to do some tweaking with your equalizer for great sound, but it is in there if you take time and look for it!

Input wire dies quickly.

G. Madrigal, Amazon
20 May 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this set of speakers in WalMart. My intention was to have a nice compact system that I could use to play music from my mp3 player, computers or the Television and this set seemed to fit the bill for all combination.

Faulty

Jesse, Amazon
9 January 2011
  • Summary: We bought these speakers at Walmart and they started acting strange a few weeks after purchase. Amplified sound levels would jump up and down, speakers crackled, and volume control was finicky. Sound quality was decent enough for small speakers, but the build quality just isn't there.
