Summary: This speaker dock is made for confined workspaces such as an office cubicals, tollbooths, etc. In other words, it's decent if you have no intention of turning up the sound since the audio quality is seriously lacking depth and the "bass boost" is only moderately better than your average stock computer or television speaker. Turned up high the depth of sound becomes God awful.
Summary: The product is great, but it came from amazon with missing parts. Amazon's custumer service were excellent and they responded fast and to my full satisfaction refounding the full cost of the article. As I live in Brasil, I still nedeed to pay taxes and importation rates that are not refoudable, but that's no amazon's fault. Hopefully I will be able to purchase the missing part here in Brasil.
Not pleased. Fits iPad (1). Falls backwards. I donated it

Summary: Spring 2011: Am downgrading this speaker from four stars to two stars. Kept falling backwards. Not pleased. Donated it to someone with the caveat to keep it in a shoebox so it won't fall over. Replaced it with a JBL On Stage IIIP Portable Speaker Dock for iPad and iPhone (Black), which is stable, and which I use all the time. ----- Spring 2010: I bought this speaker in April 2010. Quality of sound is superb.
Summary: Though this unit works well, it has a very bad design flaw that any buyer considering it should be aware of. When using it as a portable getting power from its internal AA batteries, even when you shut the unit OFF with its ON/OFF switch, the four batteries will self discharge to dead in about a week because the unit still draws current from the batteries even when shut OFF.
