Good sound, looking great, WiFi/Airplay can require time depending on your WiFi network

Summary: If you bought the AD7000W than it is most likely because of the Airplay capability and that you want the AD7000W to work with your iPhones or iPads. If Airplay does not work well and the sounds keeps cutting out it is frustrating. I did have a AD7000W and recently bought a second one because they had dropped in price so much. I like the design and the sound is very good for the price tag.
Summary: Won't connect wirelessly. Now after eight months out of warranty, the volume controls refuse to work. It is stuck on the loudest setting. Philips refuses to do anything about it and won't even tell me where to get it repaired. Last product that I will purchase from that once illustrious company.
Summary: Bought three of these speakers for $50 each = $150 for three. I now have an airport extreme as wifi base. Airport express hooked up to my stereo in the living room, and the wireless airplay speakers in the master bedroom, downstairs area and kitchen. It is a perfect airplay setup. I am using my mac as the player with itune and my phone with the remote app as the remote. Anywhere in my house I can now play music.
Summary: Easy to use once I had it set up. In the beginning I had trouble setting it up. It would not accept the IP address on iPhones or iPod. After many attempts, finally took the IP address and it was easy after that. Also once it's set up, all devices have access to the speaker and even on my Mac. Works with iPod with iOs 6, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5C. Has great sound but once in a while will loose sound do to router being a little far. Definately recommend it though.
Summary: What can you expect from a $55 airplay speaker? Actually a fair amount. I think it sounds pretty good. Not great but pretty good. Certainly gets lough enough. I bought one, it was easy to set up and listen to, so i bought two more, for other rooms in the house. One of the three didn't work so I returned it and got another. So cheap at $55 each. Easy and low cost way to enable your whole house!
Summary: What a surprise. This unit works MUCH better than I expected. This is a 2011 model and I just bought it a few days ago for $99. I've had 10 or 12 dock style units but really wanted an airplay cable device for the nightstand ... wish it had a clock face though. Set up was easy, but not very elegant. You press a button and the unit creates a wireless network. You join the network and use your browser to config it.
The Airplay never worked. The speakers work only through the audio cable not through Airplay.

Summary: I was very excited to buy this low cost speakers because they had Airplay and that feature usually is very expensive. However when I received the speakers, to my surprise Airplay never worked! The speakers work only through the audio cable BUT NOT through Airplay. Money wasted.
