Summary: The new world of wireless devices have left your old headsets behind. There simply is no jack to plug them into. I purchased some bluetooth receivers so I could use my old Bose headsets again. The one with the most battery life did not have a volume control.
Summary: I was so surprised how hard it was to find a volume controller. I was trying to purchase my wife some earbuds with a volume control, but all the ones available are basically software based and designed for iphones or android devices.
Pros: Works just fine, no problems. All as advertised.
Summary: Poor design due to minitiature volume control wheel. You have to use fingernail to turn volume wheel! Didn' t ANYONE even try out this poorly engineered device? I returned it and spliced an old pair of earbuds instead. sorry Koss, you blew it!!!
Summary: Great for reducing your volume if it's too loud. It has a clip on the wheel end which is nice. One con though, the box on the wheel end is made of plastic and doesn't feel very sturdy (I would definitely not drop it). Overall works fine but I would watch the one end.
Summary: I use this for my metal detector, the detector has no external volume control, the heat of the sun makes the headphones hot, so with the 1/4--1/8th inch jack reducer and jvc water resistant earbuds this works great...
