Summary: Pros: Great Sound and Portable Cons: Two separate units have totally erased my Zune and the handle could be designed a little better. I purchased the Kicker about two months ago after a lot of research and reading of reviews. As there are not a whole lot of options for the Zune I took the chance that maybe a few indivuals had the misfortune of receiving bad units. Initially everything was great and I fell in love with it right away.
Summary: There are not many options for Zune users. I did quite a bit of research on several sites before purchasing the ZK500. Set up was easy and the sound is incredible. I purchased it for a deck party and the sound was MORE than powerful enough. There's good bass and treble, and both can be adjusted. I have the 80 mb Zune and that zune sits in the cradle just fine. It comes with three cradle pads to nestle your Zune and should fit most.
Kicker ZK50 Zune speaker dock does perform as advertised

Summary: The Kicker ZK50 Zune speaker dock does perform as advertised -- and does it pretty well, many of its attributes are worthy of 4 star ratings individually. So why the overall 3 star rating? Rating 4 stars for portability or ease of use is a good thing However, the most important reason for purchasing this or similar equipment in my opinion is the quality of the sound -- which in the case of this Kicker is only fair to middling at best -- thus 3 stars overall rating.
Summary: Just received my kicker zk500 speaker dock system a week ago and I absolutely "Love it". I have a zune 30g and I couldnt really find anything in the stores, just a bunch of ipod stuff. After reading the other comments(lower ratings) from this website I was a little worried; But so far I have'nt had any problems. The sound is fantastic, clear with booming bass I was amazed. The remote was easy to use and it actually controls the zune too! I'm very happy with my purchase!
Summary: Usually I've found it safe to ignore the more alarmist customer reviews on Amazon, as long as the product has a good overall rating. In this case, however, I got screwed. As other reviewers have noted, the Kicker does indeed erase Zunes. I've had mine for just a few days, and didn't have any problems until I finally had the house to myself and cranked the volume up to 15 (out of 40!), after which I could no longer access any of my 20,000+ songs.
Summary: I bought the Kicker ZK500 almost a year ago, within a week i had it freeze and reformat not just my Zune, bot co-workers Zunes. I contacted kicker and was told to get a hold of their 1-800 number, every time i called it went to some sort of voice message system. I gave up trying to return the stupid thing and am forced to use this dock through the AUX port instead.
Summary: The bass is really impressive and it's louder than I thought it would be. Plays music at a really high quality and the remote works from surprisingly long distances. However, I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a battery operated option. I like to take music with me to the park for picnics and whatnot and I can't do that with these speakers. All in all, I'm very glad I purchased it and it's worth the money.
Summary: Finally everything I wanted in a Zune dock. The first I bought was an RCA made for iPOD. I had to use the AUX in for the Zune. Sound quality was poor and, of course, no recharging ability or remote. I moved up to an Alltec for Zune. The Zune 80GB sort of fit in the dock. It was never easy to line the pins properly and Alltec, who had listed in the description an adapter was available free of charge if requested, said no adapter was available.
