Summary: I agree with some of the other poor reviews this product has. I didn't actually buy this from Apple. I bought it from a retailer at the service stop along the motorway as I'd forgotten my charger. It was used about 5 times within the first 3 months of buying it, then it just stopped working or lighting up. If you take the risk and buy it from Apple, you should get your money back because of their receipt system.
Summary: I thought buying an in car charger from Apple would mean it would be decent but this car charger doesn't even fit in the socket! My sat Nav works fine but this is awful! I don't even know if I can get my money back as I am applying on 18 th day as it took ages to arrive and i was on holiday.
Summary: I purchased this as i'd tried others had they did not work. Contrary to the other reviews this has worked great for me. I tested it with 90% power and whilst watching a movie and browsing the internet after 30mins it was 100%. I think the problem may be with the cars charging point, some cars don't have enough juice going to them.
Summary: I used this in my car for about 5 months before finally getting another to replace it. It was quite expensive at 20 euro in the Apple store. I wasnt happy with the quality either because it feels really cheap and would break if accidently sat on. I just found it really annoying because the cord is like a telephone cord and just coils up whenever you try to pull it it just pull back so it was really awkward trying to plug in my phone as I was driving because I had to...
Pros: Charges iPod or iPhone well, fits nicely in car charger
Cons: Seems to flip back because of the coil lead, feels really cheap and looks it too
Summary: DO NOT buy this to power the iPad in a car. It struggles to give the required juice. I have had two (first one burned out after trying to charge iPad for 4 hrs without a full recharge). Second one struggles again and so give up. Just use it for the iPhone. Hope this helps so that you don't buy another charger and so waste the money on the hope of charging the iPad when on a long journey away from an electrical supply! P.S.
Summary: I bought one of these Griffin PowerJolt car chargers at the same time I took out my contract for the iPhone 3G 8GB with O2. (at the same time I also bought the Griffin hard leather case for the iPhone which I would also recommend) The deal price for the two items was twenty quid, less a few pence for the 15% VAT discount. So I'm not sure exactly what the individual item proce was. This is a great little charger, no fuss, just does what it says on the tin.
Griffin PowerJolt SE: Plug me in to get sweet music again.

Summary: Griffin PowerJolt SE In car, iPod charger. Please note this is not in the product category I suggested to Dooyoo, they put this in this category. I bought a 4th generation Nano after xmas and love it to bits (see my earlier review) so you can imagine my disappointment when travelling in my car, I connected it to my fab Belkin in car player (see another earlier review) and whilst it plays fine, it will not charge as it plays as my 2nd gen' iPod did.
