Summary: So I bought this board to replace a power hungry server board to build a new NAS file server machine for my media center. Combined this with MAX ram and a 24 port RAID controller. The system performs just as needed.

Summary: The product title says "Mini ITX" (170mm x 170mm). The product details say 8 x 8 (203mm x 203mm). This product is a Mini DTX (203mm x 170mm). I think Mini ITX was intentionally put in the title to catch people like me trying to put a replacement board in an existing case - people who took one look...
Summary: wanted a motherboard of these but I live in Venezuela and here we have very few dollars ... and in short I need that motherboard to assemble my computer for university studies in Venezuela and here I get my salary extremedamente expensive nor gives for that.
Summary: Pros: - Inexpensive, 6 SATA ports. Cons: - nothing over whelming. Not too sure about the effectiveness of the passive cooling, BIOS suggests it runs quite warm - high 30's C with no load. I added an 80mm fan directly to heat-sink with no change in results. Heat -sink is not warm to the touch. Hmmm?
Summary: I bought one, loved it so I bought 2 more. When I bought them they were $125 each, now they are significantly less being a bit older, but still great boards. I loaded them with 4GB of RAM and in one of them I have a 2TB drive with OS and installs, plus a 2TB RAID1 array and a 4TB RAID1 array.
