John "Searching for the origin of the univers..., Amazon
15 November 2011
Summary: I bought this board first at a local store (Frys) and it failed two days after entering production. Would not boot, no beep, nothing. The replacement I bought here on Amazon has been running at 95% CPU for a weeks and it seem perfect. I chose it because it is mini-ITX and it supports RAID-1. I would strongly prefer INTEL ICHR to the NVIDIA RAID but NVIDIA works and I have even gone through a rebuild successfully.
Summary: I don't understand why some people rated this product low. For less than $50, this works perfectly fine to replace my burned MB of HP Slimline, which lasted less than a month over HP's 1-year warranty and HP refused to do anything to help me. All you need to do is to remove your memory and CPU to this broad. Plugging in all the necessary connections, it just runs like new. For those claiming DOA, how can you be so sure it's the problem of the MB?
Summary: I used this motherboard to replace an older Zotac mini-itx board that gave up the ghost after a power outage. With all the negative reviews not only here but at other stores, I was kind of antsy about it, specially the 20A spec on the power supply. Nevertheless, I was nicely surprised. It started up OK at once, no problem installing everything.
Summary: Should have read the other reviews. The board was dead on arrival. Tried multiple power supplies, CPUs (65W), cleared the BIOS, etc etc. Nothing worked. Returned the board to Amazon and got a new one, same deal. At this point I'm just going to get my money back and buy a no Zotac board.
Summary: right size to fit but power on back of board that goes under dvd player. pins not same for power supply so not able to plug in this. so my slimline only option for foxconn defective board gone. great price and hopeful it would work..
Summary: I replaced the motherboard in an HP slimline with this product. It also required the purchase of 2 cables and 2 cuts / slices to +12 volt power/gnd. The enclosed software was all I needed to get the system running and it has been working for a couple of months. My only concern is the temperature of the heatsink on the video chip.
Summary: This is a great little board with no expansion slots. I did want an ATX board and am not sure how I got confused in the order process. I used it anyway and it fired right up with no problems and works great.
Summary: I ordered this for a server/HTPC build and it arrived dead.. system would not power on. That's not why I'm giving it one star though. This is the cheapest looking/feeling piece of garbage I've ever seen. The RAM slots and PCI slots were so flimsy I was worried they were going to break off just plugging components in. The clips that hold the ram in the board require zero pressure to open/close.. they don't secure it in well at all. Zotac really skimped out on this one.
