Perfect for my needs

Jeffrey P., Newegg
8 July 2015
  • Pros: Had an Intel I5 2400, Silverstone SG05BB-450 case, and a 500 gig Seagate Sata III HD laying around and decided to see if any motherboards were available to build a computer. Found this one and since it is the only H67 board available on Newegg decided to give it a try in spite of the negative rev...
  • Cons: If keyboard and mouse are plugged into USB3 ports would not wake from S3 sleep. Still 5 stars since it wakes fine when utilizing USB2 ports.

Great so far

Matthew T., Newegg
22 June 2015
  • Summary: I was reluctant to buy this board as it has a concerning number of negative reviews some of which complain about different aspects of the board failing and bad customer service. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed many reviewers rated the board 0 eggs because they ran into issues with running...
  • Pros: -SATA 3! -on board wifi (taking up an mSATA slot)! -Lots of great connectivity options (usb 3.0, eSATA, display port, etc) -0 real issues so far (see my one con) -under $50.00
  • Cons: This is mostly an inconvenience rather than a serious problem in my opinion but... -Needs BIOS update in order to support ivybridge processors, but works great with ivybridge once BIOS are updated. -Zotac will not send you (or sell you) a chip with the most recent BIOS (I tried).

Functional and durable

Eric S., Newegg
5 July 2013
  • Pros: The integrated wireless is a huge bonus. I have been using these in a hot, filthy manufacturing environment without failure.
  • Cons: These Intel boards cost more than the AMD boards by the same manufacturer did.

What more could you want?

ANTHONY S., Newegg
20 February 2012
  • Summary: The only other feature I could possibly think of that the board is missing is Bluetooth, but I can not consider that a con.
  • Pros: This board has all the features I wanted and in an extremely small package. Full size DDR3 DIMM slots, PCI-Express x16, WIFI N, SATA RAID… and yet this motherboard is only 6.7”x6.7”.
  • Cons: Have not found any yet.

Second Zotac build - no regrets

Andre B., Newegg
14 February 2012
  • Summary: This board, along with a Lian-Li PC-Q07 or Q11 case and a high efficiency PSU makes a classy small form factor machine. I use an Intel 2500K, a pair of Mushkin 8 GB Silverlines and a 128 G Crucial M4 for a nearly silent unit that does a bang-up job of photo editing with Photoshop and is no slouch...
  • Pros: Integrated wireless-N, SATA 6 GB, USB 3.0, handles 16 GB RAM, lots of BIOS options (maybe too many!). Works with standard ATX PSU, lots of USB ports.
  • Cons: Zotac has a rather rocky reputation in the small machine builder community - I understand some of these issues and am baffled by others. Default fans at full speed? Never saw it. Undervolting? Why not get a low power processor? 3 TB boot drive in a NAS? Sounds like somebody's looking for trouble.

Testing zotac's customer service

Timothy H., Newegg
12 June 2011
  • Summary: I need to remember to read return policies better, duh on me...
  • Pros: All the options i wanted for my itx build:i5-2400S, 2x2GB 1300mhz 8cl 1.35v g.skill eco-ram, 500gb wd blue hd, in a white lian-li q11 case
  • Cons: Booted fine first time, then installed latest BIOS, using Zotac's software. Reboot, no post. Due to not having all components earlier, had clipped upc for rebate, so no help from Newegg. Tested every other conceivable problem, so guessing corrupted bios. Ticket submitted through zotac's website a...

Ideal for HTPC

Alain D., Newegg
18 May 2011
  • Summary: I have an Intel i3 2100T installed on the motherboard and it sips power even at full load. It plays full HD 1080P without any hiccups. I'm thinking of buying a second setup for my WHS build.
  • Pros: Small, powerful and full of features you'll ever need for an HTPC or general use PC.
  • Cons: Price is a little higher than other motherboards but it's well worth it.
