  • Summary: I got this mobo for a HTPC/ light-use-PC - for that purpose it is working great. With a very minor FSB overclock AND undervolted, this is working great with my Celeron e3400 (dual core). Output up to 1080i/720p works great with Windows 7 with Boxee and XBMC (have not tested 1080p). I haven't tried Netflix or any other video service. I also have not tried or installed the wifi - a "nano" G USB adapter is working great.

My sole intent for this is to set up a low-power headless PlayOn server to sit on my network. My configuration consists of: - Zotac GF9300-K-E - Intel E5700 CPU - 8GB Crucial DDR3 PC3-10600 RAM - Kingston 128GB SSDNow V Series - MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (System Builder/OEM) - Antec ISK100 case All of the components fit on to...

Piece of Junk, Again

  • Summary: The same review I posted at another website: Pros: Lots of onboard features (in theory) Dual audio codecs (HDMI and normal Realtek HDA stack w/ 6 analog channels, optical + coaxial) Cons: Almost completely useless. If it didn't work as a paperweight, it would be completely useless. This board has more timing and setup/hold violations than any board I've ever seen. Won't run with 1066MHz RAM, even though advertised. Finicky as can be with 1333MHz RAM.
