nice board at great price
Yino "zombine210", Amazon
4 September 2009
Summary: pros: compatible with all current C2Duos and C2Quads, integrated wi-fi, full pci-e 16x. cons: limited heatsink & fan options; will accept stock intel hs/fan only a certain way; won't fit most aftermarket coolers. other: great full-featured board at a nice price. stuck it in a old-school Nintendo box with intel C2Duo E8400 and 2x2Gb ram. using pico-psu 150/102W runs great with windows XP! a bit hot, but i'm not using a conventional case.
Summary: This is an absolutely excellent motherboard. I have to give it 5 stars and I do so on the excellence of the board and nothing else. There are a few comments to be made however. I would have liked to see 3 SATA connections or 2 SATA and a IDE slot but if you keep in mind that this board is in Mini iTX format and under normal circumstances you would use a small factor case then there will not be enough room for 2 hard disks and an DVD/RW drive.
Summary: This may be small motherboard but it is very powerfull, having the majority of the features found on a mini-ATX or ATX motherboard. It will form the basis of a very small but very powerful PC, or with the right case a Home Theatre PC. With Windows 7 it will play AVCHD video with only 3% CPU (E8400)utilisation. It has a single 16x PCI-e slot which can be used for a discrete graphics card and dual SLI. Alternatively, the slot could be used for a TV tuner card in a HTPC.
