  • Summary: Based on Sandy Bridge, it’s not surprising that the C204 chipset in the S5510 is quite awesome. Couple this board with a good Xeon, and you have a solid server than can function in a variety of roles. With the way we have our configured, it has all the makings for a sweet ESXi server for hosting all your VMs. The IPMI and iKVM interfaces function exactly as you would expect. They allow you to remotely control the server and even power it off and on.
