  • Summary: System config: 2x Xeon E5620 (cooled with the INtel stanard BXSTS100A Aluminum HSF) 24GB RAM (soon to be 48) 16 TB of disk in the server mounted in a Lian-Li PC-A70F case Powered by a ThermalTake 850watt PSU (which runs cold with this gear) And soon will have a nice Nvidia or ATI Gfx card to support...
  • Pros: I bought this rig as a virtualization host. • Pros: I haven't found anything I like about this board unless you are bored and want to waste your time.
  • Cons: The SAS/SATA RAID are S/W and are not even detected with VMWare. If you want a Windows box it is detected. Have not validated performance but looks like it may be a Hyper-V box unless I can return it.
