Summary: It worked for the task at hand, but it's not the greatest board out there if you can choose another.
Pros: This board has a 64-bit PCI (not PCI-X) slot and that is the whole reason that I chose this board. It was the only relatively modern board to have such a slot. I had a card of that kind that I needed to run. Motherboard is fully supported by Linux.
Cons: One of the IDE channels dies on my after the second boot, case fans refuse to have their speed regulated even though they are all 3-wire fans and it should work according to the manual. This is not a very fast board.
