SAPPHIRE PURE Fusion Mini E350 review, part one

23 May 2011
  • Conclusion: The standard benchmarks might not make the SAPPHIRE PURE Fusion E-350 look terribly good, but that’s more an issue with the benchmark suite than the platform itself.  The suite is geared towards a traditional system with a discrete GPU, and anything with an IGP will struggle.  For general day-to-day computing and quite a few special tasks, though, this board works very well, a fact which will be made clear in the second part of the review.

  • Summary: Intel upped the processor ante by integrating video capabilities into their Sandy Bridge line. This improved performance (on some levels) by removing the video bus, a potential bottleneck. The removal of such devices led to less current running through the system, and therefore less power drain – making it more environment-friendly and reducing the heat output at the same time. AMD had to step up with an answer, and the E350 (Zacate) is one of their first offerings.

Sapphire PURE Fusion Mini E350

8 September 2011

Sapphire PURE Fusion Mini E350

29 March 2011
