Summary: None of the spin-offs of Law and Order are nearly as good as the original. I wish that I had root beer in the house because it's after midnight and I have ice cream. If I had root beer, I could have a root beer float now. Did they mean "other relevant thoughts"?
Cons: Since eggs are a symbol of life, I regret having been forced to give even one for my review. This MSI motherboard didn't need a computer builder, it needed a priest! I've built dozens of computers before and never had a dead motherboard. Due to illness, I didn't try it for a couple months. Refund request denied despite giving long explanation and having spent $$$$$ here over the years. Way to keep a customer!! As for MSI, shame on you for your quality control and for ...
Summary: I have owned EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte and many others. I have built both Intel and AMD platforms and I can say through experience MSI is a leader in quality products and I will never recommend anything else.
Pros: This board is great. I have not had a single issue with it. Easily installed into my Thermaltake Armor Revo case. No issues with the i/o shield, loose or faulty heatsinks or any other issue others have mentioned. The BIOS is a dream come true. It is so easy to use a person with little to no experience wouldn't have a problem. I guess maybe I got lucky? I doubt it. I have been using MSI products for years and have never had to RMA a single piece. I am currently using t...

Summary: *CAN SOMEONE WITH 'SUPREME' EXPERTISE ON THE MOTHERBOARD/MOTHERBOARDS COMMENT ON THIS?* I have built a lot of rigs... '96 - Pentium Pro 60hz with triple boot of Sun Solaris, MS-DOS 6.22, Win 3.11, and Win 95; 2003 - Pentium III rig; 2006 - An Intel QuadCore which lived on an ASUS board for 4 years, then to a MSI board until 2014: which I retired to be replaced by a Corei7... I also fixed other people's computers...
Summary: I read and researched extensively. I requested insights from computer Geeks. There are several name brand motherboards from which to select. I chose the MSI Z87 G45 because of its reviews, not the pretty red dragon. Also my nephew built his computer with this same motherboard and he has had only praise for it. The install of the motherboard was easy - even for a first-timer like me. Once all the components were installed, all the cables connected. It started right up.
Summary: This is a great motherboard that i use in my main rig for gaming and other such things. It was easy to install, and my cooler fit with no problems (hyper212 eve) I did have a scare when it didn't show any lights when i turned it on though.
Summary: Great piece of work here, installation wasn't hard even for me as a first time builder. i would recommend this to anyone who loves gaming and just wants a good working computer. MSI did a real good job.
Summary: Looks and performs amazingly! I have an Intel i7-4770k in one of these, paired with 16GB of Kinston HyperX Beast RAM. I've got two HD 7850's in crossfire (crossfire cable not included with this setup) with enough breathing room in between them. I used this for my first ever PC build and it was really easy to get going. The BIOS has a really simple-to-use GUI. Plenty of available expansion slots.
