Summary: Has all the expansion slots I needed, PCI-E 3.0 is very nice. Assembly with this mobo was very easy, bios worked nicely - got a POST immediately for my first build! Even had good access with all the wires and the heatsink installed while IN my case. MSI makes an excellent product!
Summary: I like this board a lot!!! I repair and sell PC' for a living. I have sold Dell's for years. Decided to use this MOBO to upgrade 4 of my own machines. PROS (very little testing done before writing this review) GREAT features, I love the layout of the board. Nice USB 3.0 on the board (inside the PC) and on the back of the board. 6BG/s is sweet too. Nice risers for the front of case connectors. LOVE the one button overclocking!!!
Summary: She is the one that keeps them all together and work as one. She is a magnificent blue giant. This ATX mobo (motherboard) is one of a kind; price wise, You couldn't ask for more out of this board. It has the capacity and features that one needs to build a computer. I have an excess of ports and inputs to use up if I so desire to. The BIOS is nothing less than amazing, it is simple and easy to use, even for amateurs. Wanting to overclock?
Summary: Great for OC. the only negative I have on this board is the often overlooked in reviews lack of Wifi networking. Plan on buying a NIC if you purchase this board. Quality is great save for this obvious lack. That's why I took a star off.
Summary: I moved my i5-2500K from my prior MSI P67A to this new Z77. Installed a new GTX 670 4GB, 128 GB Crucial M4 SSD, and 8GB (2x4) GSkill Ripjaws (8-8-8-24)........using OC Genie, the bios shows 4200 MHz and 8-8-8-24 ram timings.....one button press is all it took to get 900 free MHz of OC! Ran OCCT, IntelBurn test, and prime95, and a few hours of BF3..........not a single hiccup! There's not anything I dislike about this MSI board.
Summary: I installed this along with an i7-3770K about a week ago, and so far it's been running very solid. I haven't overclocked it yet (still not sure if I need to), but I feel that this board was a great value. I haven't run a true stress test on it yet, but I have processed some 1GB images in photoshop that took the CPU up to around 80% with no problems. I'm not too much into gaming anymore, now I use my computer more for photo and video editing.
Summary: The motherboard performs perfectly, it is easy to install, hardware and software, very very easy to configure and it has been a solid performer so far. The one complaint I have though is that you cannot support a dual video output with one monitor going to the graphics card and the other going into the integrated HDMI slot.
