Summary: I'm a fan of MSI...for whatever reason I've never had bad luck with these boards but I have with other brands, like ASUS, that come with better general reviews.
Pros: I've had great luck with MSI motherboards...better than any other brand. Fewer issues, fewer RMAs. I did two builds with this motherboard and they've been running without a hitch for 2 years. Seem likely that they will become obsolete before the break down...the best scenario
Summary: Did not work with my CPU but CPU worked in original board before and another board after. Fix did not work but that's the breaks. Just out time and effort as refund was made immediately. Good try - no harm no foul.
Cons: Terrible motherboard. Keeps giving random freezes in games (with both video card and integrated graphics). Never sent the rebate that they promised even though they emailed me that it had been promised.
Summary: this board replaced a fried Asus Maximus V Gene mobo. I wasn't 100% sure that the cpu wasn't fried as well. So I went with this board for $80 instead of another $200+ Asus board. Well it fired up first try, tweaked the bios a little and she was back up and running in no time.
Pros: I upgrade it from an Asus P5E3 + Q9550 with 2x4G RAM, 4x500G HDD in RAID0 plus 2 others HDD and HD 7880. For the CPU I use a i5 3570K even thought I'm not a big overclocker, I want to keep mi option opened. The only thing I changed in my system is this motherboard and the CPU; I didn't have to re...
Cons: All the tools that came with it (from MSI) are very bad software. The only interesting toll, Control Center, is buggy
