Summary: The board worked fine, I had one before and it failed due to being shorted out by a prolonged short in a USB case adapter. Board was great when it was operational, good speed and stability. My only issue is with the transaction. The seller was less than truthful, in my opinion, about the condition of the board. It was offered as new at over retail price. I needed this board and was willing to pay the price for a new board since it was out of production.
Summary: This motherboard is a great overclocker. Intel Extreme really screams on this board!!!! Last great board ever made that makes SLI run like it should. Make sure you use a 65nm chip as 45nm will not run reliably on this board.... I know the hard way. Can't say enough about this board.... super easy bios and great overclocker!!! Runs any program or game at it's best. Only reason I did not give it a 5 is because it will not run 45nm CPU's.
Summary: I was in the middle of upgrading my pc and i purchased this motherboard. (shipping was punctual) When i received it i put everything together but nothing would happen the computer would freeze up at the motherboard logo screen, there were no bios beeps. I took my computer into a pc tech expert to take a look at it to figure out what was wrong and after about a month of taking the pc apart and testing he came to a conclusion that the motherboard was no good.
Summary: Own two already , both been rock solid folding board's under Vista 64 bit . One has four 8800 GTX's and the second is running four 280 GTX's Just picked up two more of these to round out my farm .
Summary: I did not buy this expecting a top-of-the-line gaming mobo. I bought this to be a cheap, functional motherboard to do Folding At Home work with. It has 4 PCIE slots with plenty of space between them so I can plug in lots of cards, it seems to have a decent power plane so I can get a low-end cpu to process all the I/O from the cards, and it deals with the memory I need to use, so for me this was perfect.
