Then I bought a H50 water cooler it was doing same thing boot loop I had to loosen the cooler to get the boot ...
Pros: Got two of these. Everything working great. Got one in a WIN 8 PC hooked up to my entertainment center - Onkyo reviever & 50" Samsung Plasma TV - using HDMI for picture and fiber optic for audio and everythings working wonderfully.
Summary: The MSI P67A-GD80 motherboard is a fine item and should be considered for its value in posterity. You won't find smoother running or fine graphic display none better than this MSI board. So it is recommended.
Pros: The MSI P67A-GD80 motherboard is a good motherboard. It has all the features and it has the good running too. We can thanks MSI for this. The board runs smooth and cool and without a hiccup. Testing, startup and Windows install went very smooth and the board runs good still.
Cons: I find nothing wrong with MSI P67A-GD80 motherboard.
Pros: Does everything it's supposed to. Used for gaming with i5 2550k and 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3/1600. I have updated the bios and such with the LiveUpdate feature and that worked quick and easy. Overclocking is easy to do also and have the 2550k running at 3.9GHz on stock fan no problems.
Cons: None that I can think of. I knew what I was getting and it does what I need.
