Summary: After buying a new computer case i had to buy a new mother board and i choose this one after having bought other MSI products. after it got here found out my old CPU wouldn't fit so i used the manual that came with the product to find and match the CPU that the motherboard would support. after buying it and receiving it i come to find out that the manual is useless and that you have to call or go to their website to find the one that matches it.
Summary: Bought this at the recommendation of a friend, who thought the components looked great but had't tried it himself. It didn't work out of the box--it wouldn't even boot to the BIOS. Tried resetting CMOS, stripping down to only CPU and video card and RAM, switching out RAM, using different video card, different PCI slots. Nothing worked. After reading more about the board, especially on the MSI forums, it appears that many buyers have issues similar to mine.
Summary: First, this MSI P67A-GD65 motherboard is beautiful, loaded with features; such as 8 SATA ports, plenty of on board fan power plugs and USB 3.0 support. However, look can be deceiving. First, with my new build, I realize it only has ONE on board USB 2.0 connector and this connector is instantly taken away by the front panel USB/ audio on the case. If you want to add an internal media card reader, you are screwed!
Summary: MSI LGA 1555 P67A-GD65 ATX-MB (B3) I usually never right a review for a product but this MB and MSI really need to be exposed. First off I always buy ASUS but this MSI MB was requested as a possible future replacement. 3 out of 3 motherboards - MSI LGA 1555 P67A-GD65 ATX-MB (B3) were bad. 2 MB's were DOA- BIOS was bad, took a week to get MSI tell me to send back to AMAZON. MSI tried the check the RAM or CPU excuse but I knew the components I had were working fine.
