I'm extremely satisfied. A new mobo with these features is 2x the price.
13 April 2013
Summary: Despite being refurbished, the product is indistinguishable from a new one in every way except not coming in the original box. Mine came with the manufacturer stickers placed on it as if it were a new product, 3 sealed SATA cables, and an SLI connector. No manual, but that can be easily accessed off the MSI website. The price is also fantastic for what this motherboard has to offer.
Summary: If you are looking at the BIOS or whatever advanced setting, the basic interface will bore you. But its still pretty straight forward. This mobo is tough, withstands heat too. Its strong so just go for it. But ofcourse, I always advice to get the later editions.
Summary: I would rate it 5, but its been one year and I had a few BIOS issues, hard drive problems as well. First I didnt notice I had a bad HD, the motherboard wont start, I started taking ram out, but didnt work. That happened 8 times...Couldnt find info on MSI, just a couple of beeps that apparently was a motherboard issue. I took of that HD, and now its working fine.
Summary: This is the second one-had to RMA the first after one year of use. First one had many problems from the start-had to update bios blue screens, etc. This one has been no problem, working as it should and is a good motherboard. Has true 2.0 PCIE (@ x16 and x16).
Summary: I bought this motherboard in April 2011 and still works like the first day I don't have any CONS against the motherboard It has the OC Genius button that it allow you to OC the CPU up 4.2GHZ, so prevent to rookies or lazis to enter in the BIOS and edit the parameters In overall is a good motherboard and good brand
Summary: After buying a new computer case i had to buy a new mother board and i choose this one after having bought other MSI products. after it got here found out my old CPU wouldn't fit so i used the manual that came with the product to find and match the CPU that the motherboard would support. after buying it and receiving it i come to find out that the manual is useless and that you have to call or go to their website to find the one that matches it.
Summary: tons of ports! loads of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, even has firewire. also has internal USB 2.0, 3.0 and firewire headers. which it had more USB 2.0 headers. (only has one set of header pins, the front of my case requires 2, will have to find an expansion card.) really nice looking board, functions well. comes with USB 3.0 bracket for internal headers. the box said it supports 16 GB RAM, i emailed MSI and confirmed it does support of to 32 GB RAM.
