"Cheap and decent motherboard with DDR3&good 775 support"
9 March 2012
Pros: DDR3, satisfying integrated audio and graphics (though I don't use them), active phase switching, good CPU support. Nice black PCB.
Cons: No option in BIOS to change CPU voltage, not a great overclocker. No matter what FSB/CPU Multiplier I use, I can't get my CPU over 3.2 GHz. And only 2 PCI slots are not enough if you use a two slot graphics card, you have only 1 PCI left.
Summary: was faulty when arrived. there were signs to make me believe it was not new. I connected every thing up and no beep no bios on monitor. I worked at it for literally hours. taking out ram and processor from another working computer. no difference. tried parts one at a time still no beep nothing on monitor. put back together parts from the other computer using same psu same monitor and old computer booted up first go.
Summary: It works. I wanted a Motherboard for a steambox using a Core 2 Quad, and this one was one of those which were available, I probably mainly picked it on price, I don't really remember. It's a mix of the almost new and the very old. I don't think my original Core 2 Quad motherboard had an RS232 port. This has two, and a Centronics printer port. On the other hand, it will run 8 GB of DDR3 memory, while the old motherboard was I think limited to 4 GB.
There are better motherboards out there for the same price

Summary: I have owned this motherboard before, and it lasted just 12 months. It wasn't too bad, but I prefer the Asrock G41M-S3 as it has better features for the same price. The reason for buying was that I have many backups tied to this board and didn't want to mess around with universal recovery on a different motherboard. That is why I bought this.
Summary: Great Seller, Amazon is No.1, above all...!... fast shipment. It's a real bargain... Real value for money... Great product, better then as described. One word: Happy! Buy it and won't be disappointed.
