Summary: I did not buy this board from Amazon, but so frustrated at the board I wanted to comment everywhere I can. This board got my attention due to the number of hot swappable SATA ports, although I don;t overclock I prefer boards that do, and the easy overclocking Genie seemed easy enough to do light overclocking. Be sure to read several forums on this board and the problems people are having. I had to RMA mine after 30 days and no longer under exchange days.
Summary: Bought one of these from Amazon as I really liked the specs and features. Tried all the usual tricks - using known good ram, known good CPU, resetting CMOS etc etc but the board never did POST. Sent it back. Received another one from Amazon today...same problem!! This time I individually tested EACH component including every memory stick, the CPU, the video card(s), even the individual power cables from the PSU on a "known good" board - guess what? They all worked fine.
Summary: I had the Evga x58 3sli mb and it was good but this mb the graphics are way better just changed. The. Mb was all big diffrece msi big bang x58 1366 I have i7- 920 """"""" Evga gtx570"""corsair hx1000 psi it plays game so smooth.
Summary: I had previously been using ASUS products until I tried their ASUS LGA 1366 - Intel X58 - Republic of Gamers - ATX Motherboard Rampage III Extreme , which worked for 10 minutes and then completely died. While walking through Fry's Electronics one day, I saw this motherboard and thought that it was much better than anything that ASUS had to offer, so I tried it, and I can't be happier.
Summary: This is a great board since it "looks" like it would provide everything you need. I mean, wow! look at all the pci-e slots and it's perfect configurations. HOWEVER, things do not seem what they ought to me. From my experience, you'll get extreme lag when you have 12gb of Ram on this board and/or going SLI.
Summary: Rebuilt my system and this seemed a no brainer. Long story short I could not get it to work, had to spend a lot of money on the Geek Squad to tell me the board was bad and to RMA it. Was my first RMA ever and will say for Amazon they are amazing. They over-nighted me a new one. Put it in and nothing. Back to Geek Squad and more money to find the problem was not enough power. Word of caution.
High End, Top Performance Motherboard for mainstream X58 mobo price.

Summary: I love this mobo from MSI. Very well made, solid, very stable when you get the correct bios. Good OC, awesome look, good layout. Too bad it does not have a PCI Express Bridge like NF200 or Lucid Hydra... The best of all, this motherboard cost US$ 300 which is the price range of a mainstream X58 board from other brand... and this one has all the features and performance of the High End US$ 400+ boards from other brands.
Summary: I will start by saying I dont usually leave feedbacks or review of items that i purchase but today I will make exceptions. The five star rating I gave to the product is not for MSI big bang motherboard but for amazon.com customer service that i experience from amazon.com. My motherboard arrived as promised it was well pack and no physical damage and it was easy to open. I installed the motherboard, double check everything and fired it up.
