Cons: My first board had peripherals going in and out, particularly the SATA and USB devices. I got a replacement, and the second board did the same thing. I troubleshot every piece of hardware on my previous working rig, and could find nothing else wrong.
Summary: Pretty much every board out there has software RAID. I mean, seriously.. why else would you have 6xSATA controllers? Truth told, I do blame myself in assuming, since literally every board I've seen has supported software raid since the turn of the millenium.
Pros: Cheap, functional.. Good for an uncomplicated build.
Cons: Weird nonstandard BIOS. No software RAID. :\ Only IDE and AHCI.
