Summary: Had an issue with using 2 sticks of ram.. both worked great solo in any slot but when both in at same time it caused constant memory failures. Support said seems you have a dead battery on the board.
Pros: Worked well until i tried to use more than 1 stick of ram
Cons: customer support is lack luster. Board can only read 1 stick of ram at a time but has 4 slots and 2 channels.
Summary: Overall for a home pc or a gamer that is not trying to overclock this is a great board. I've had it over a year and have had 0 issues with it. The bios is easy to use with being able to use your mouse and keyboard.
Pros: Great value, reliable, easy to use bios, ample amount of connectors.
Cons: 4 pin cpu connector, no ability to change cpu voltage in bios
Summary: this motherboard looks amazing, and until today worked amazing too. there were zero issues until after a normal restart today, my hard drive was no longer recognized and I was getting boot path errors.
Summary: Why still 5 eggs? The customer support that MSI provided was awesome. I submitted a query to tech support after registering the board on their site expected a response in the next few days, got a response in hours (even though I didn't check my e-mail for a few days).
Pros: Picked this up cyber Monday for around fifty. Used it to build a computer for the wife's schooling. Wanted something that booted fast and launched apps fast for those last minute "I have a term paper due in 4 hours" situations.
Cons: Bios Update failed....completely. followed it by the book and it just couldn't do it. I even let it sit after it rebooted it self for an hour and a half to make sure.
Summary: If you don't know what to choose between Bolton D3 & D4: The major differences are the D4 has more SATA ports and you could configure a RAID 5. The D3 is fine for most users who's needs are for browsing and multimedia applications.
Pros: Got a Gigabyte Mobo to replace a defective Acer OEM mobo. It worked for less than a week and died. We found all the required features on this board: USB 3.0 expansion port, HDMI, VGA & DVI, 4x USB 3.0 rear I/O, etc. And it still works after a month. Very satisfied overall!
Pros: I like this board. I had no issues with install.I used it in a home server running WHS 2011. I like the small micro ATX form factor. I have an SSD boot drive and a 2TB storage drive with 4 gigs of ram. I like the USB 3.0 and with build in video i needed no card for initial setup. I don't run the ...
