Summary: First time buying MSI and overall am completely satisfied because this is a huge upgrade from my last motherboard. Sure there are a couple of bugs I have to fix, but I am satisfied with the result.
Pros: Very easy to install; free HDMI cable (saves a couple of bucks); the Bios mouse is actually not that bad, it's not 1-to-1 tracking, but it works, so I was surprised by that; Drivers all installed first time around. Color coded interface which is very vibrant and easily read; The text along the mo...
Cons: Wish it came with some screws, as we only had 3 and it has around 6 holes; along with the driver thing, LiveUpdate doesn't work on my computer, I try to run it, but get the blue screen everytime; USB 3.0 doesn't work? Still trying to figure that out.
Summary: The USB3.0 port finally is recognized by the dock station after updated the firmware of it. The speed is nothing more than an Esata port for SATAII. To make esata port work have to adjust the setting in bios.
Pros: Setup is very easy. The main board + A3850 can be powered by a power supply that failed to power Intel Quad 2 duo. This is awesome.
Cons: USB3.0 controller missing in the bios which led me to a wrong direction. Per manual USB3.0 can be enable and disable in bios.
Summary: I've had good experience with MSI, they are the "best bang for the buck," IMO.
Pros: Built like a tank--uses solid state capacitors.
Cons: The three boards I initially received with version 1 of the bios had a peculiar bug in which any change in USB arrangement--that is new devices or moving devices around would cause the system to stop posting. I would have to manually clear the cmos to be able to post again. The latest update seem...
Great Motherboard for HTPC + Gaming, XBMC, USB3.0, HDMI

Summary: First of all, the quality of the board is perfect, well made with lots of onboard options for anyone looking to build a decent computer. I paired the MSI A75MA-G55 FM1 with an A8-3870K, MSI ATI 6670HD card and 8GB of Kingston HyperX Ram.
Pros: It has plenty of RAM slots and other expansion bays for what I need it for and for future upgrades.
Cons: Even after installing the drivers from the disk that came with the board, it seemed to have trouble recognizing its own on-board sound chip. I disabled the Raeltek that comes with it, and sound started working alright. Although I feel like the quality of sound could be better. Even on "AUTO" in t...
