What is the problem here with AMD or 990FXA design?

Summary: I have only been building PC's since 1981 so I may not know enough to do what is correct. Here is what's happening: 0. Under all circumstances, the system will run Linux less than 48 hours and then they crash totally -- only removing power will get them to restart. 1.
Summary: Once I spoke to a real person, I was able to quickly RMA the first board. When the second board died and I tried to contact MSI about it, I received no reply. I really want to like MSI, yet this makes the third expensive (not including the second version of this board) MSI board I've had to fail on...
Pros: Worked beautifully when everything operated as advertised. The blue/black scheme really catches the eye.
Cons: Where to begin? Bought this in June 2014... USB failure - September 2014: I had to change around USB peripherals to get things to work correctly. It would seemly work correctly and an inconsistent (I literally wrote down every time it happened) amount of time would pass and I'd have to mess aroun...
Pros: I love the board. it works very well and has a lot of OC features. very easy to use and OC. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't just die on me after 9 months. keep getting code FF. and did every trouble shoot possible. and still wouldnt load bios or let me into them.
Cons: died after 9 months. really wish I stuck with asus mobo. tried msi Bc a buddy said they was good. but ends up for me they died faster then asus.
Summary: I bought this and was so excited when I got all my components together for my build. Oh boy was I in for a ride. At first when it didn't work I called MSI support to ask them what might be the issue. They told me that it was because I hadn't updated the bios so it could run the FX8350.
Pros: It looks fancy and has digital temperature display
Cons: Constant BSOD, bios was awful, had too much crapware, doesn't work with FX-8350 and OC genie is a joke.
Summary: 2nd board i have received that doesnt want to run right. turned right around and put everything back on my 970a-g46 and even with the slower gpu (two at 8x) slots my games and benchmarks all run better.
Pros: nice looking, extra space between two video cards, board runs cool with the airflow my air 540 has.
Cons: newegg lists it as fx compitable and some people get them to run well, but the msi website doesnt list the fx chips for this board. if i use msi control center to change anything with the cpu at all, it instantly freezes. thats only after it kept resetting over and over. i dont know whats up with...
Summary: This is a video editing machine, with a Phenom II 960T all 6 cores running stable at 3800mhz. 2 sticks of G.Skill Sniper ddr3-1600 PC3-12800 4gig, GT220 video, Antech 650 watt psu. With Debian Wheezy 64bit as the os. Or at least that was the setup on the previous board.
Pros: Well organized BIOS
Cons: Only worked for 15 hours. This was a replacement, for a board with dying SATA controllers. Most of the 15 hours was spent recovering & copying data from the old boot drive to a new one. Finished that & was in the command line reinstalling things with corrupted files. When it just shut off. It has...
Summary: dissapointed. doing a replacement for the same board but if the next one is faulty im gonna be really mad having to pay again to send it. so now the replacement board is gonna be over $200 sicne i have to pay to ship back the bad board.
Pros: nice looking board, big space between two video cards, easy install for all wires
Cons: random restarts and bsod with different codes until they started repeating. all the same components from the last msi board (970a-g46) worked perfectly and are back on that board again with no issues. couldnt adjust anything in the bios. i have my 8350 at 4620mhz and on this board i couldnt get i...
Cons: 1st Mobo wouldn't post was stuck in the common issue for this board of FF, paid 30 bucks to send it back RMA, get a new one few weeks later samething. There is no fixes for this issue on the web, overall this board is junk.
Cons: my system had the 2133 dominator memory, amd 8350 cpu , it was replaced 2 times so far in less than a year 1 st time didn't take anything but MOB the 2nd time for all i know it took mob and power supply out
