Summary: I would definitely buy it again to build another system.
Pros: Love the motherboard and the multiple expansion slot it has. Works 24/7 as my media server running Windows 7 Pro. Rosewill Blackhawk - Original Case Raidmax 730w Power Supply - Modular AMD FX 8320E 3.2GHz 8-Core / Corsair H60 H20 Cooler AMD MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 Motherboard 32GB 4x8GB Crucial 1600MHz...
Cons: Not really a con ... but who puts a chipset or south bridge in the way of a PCIe x1 slot just below the on-board sound ? I would have put my RAID card there but it wouldn't fit. No worries I put my Wireless AC card there instead.
Summary: This has room for multiple graphics cards, but if you want to put 2 double-size graphics cards on this board, good luck finding a case where the cards don't rub right up against the PSU. I finally found a case, (the Rosewill Rise) but it is utterly huge.
Summary: I got it this yesterday and had it up and running in about an hour with new processor and graphics card. Booted up first with no problem. I've been mainly an MSI guy for the last 15 years and have never had to return a part.
Pros: Looks great, great chip set, value priced. Nice bang for the buck.
Summary: Has everything an AMF board should have and a lot more. Pros: CLICK BIOS IN AND OUT OF WINDOWS, usb 3.0, 990fx/nb950, runs AM3 and AM3+, 4 system fan and 1 cpu fan plug, onboard 6pin PCI-E for newer cards, latest bios already updated, external cmos reset in case an OC goes bad.
