Pros: Got this on sale with a free stick. It has a very user friendly BIOS. You can even navigate it with your mouse! OC Genie II seems to work well if your looking for a moderate overclock. It bumped my FSB from 200 to 225 on my Phenom II 945 and runs stable.
Cons: The quick connector pins (for USB and front panel header, etc) that come with the board feel cheaply made compared to the rest of the board. I even had a dummy pin just fall out of one like it wasn't even secured in the plastic. Unless you're constantly removing your motherboard I would skip them and just connect your headers straight to the board.
Pros: -BIOS interface is wonderful, I'm loving the OC Genie and the little extras that can make life a bit easier on occasion.
Cons: -I was KIND OF terrified when I had issues plugging the 24-pin power plug from my PSU into the board and was having to put a LOT more pressure on it than I would have liked to get it secure... but that may have been the PSU's problem, so I won't knock off an egg since I don't know for sure.
Summary: MSI Socket AM3+/AMD 990FX/DDR3/CrossFireX/SATA3 and USB 3.0/A and GbE/ATX Motherboard 990FXA-GD65 V2.All is well. Works as described. No problem. I recommend this product.Price is good.Excellent.
Summary: Lots of overclocking functionality. I'd say this board is the standard for this year and easily one of the cheapest good motherboards. Pretty large board so I'd suggest having a large case to put it in, a medium tower would barely cut it as my large AzzA Hurrican 2000 was almost a perfect fit.
