Summary: As motherboards go, this is more than adequate, but has a few shortcomings worth noting. This was a VERY tight fit in my "Cooler Master Centurion 534 Plus" case. This case is quite large, with five 5 1/4-inch front bays. The board is truly full-sized ATX, and uses nine widest-of-all standoffs to mount. Caps on the board just north of the main 24-pin power connector come within 1/4 inch to the rear of an optical drive. I had to remove a rear case fan to get the board in.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT until you find out how much time is left on the warranty. MSI warranty is based on the date of manufacture not by when you bought the mainboard. So if it has been on the shelf for 1 year, you will only get 2 years warranty. Regardless of what your receipt says, you will be denied RMA. If you have to RMA the board, they might send you a board that dies within 1 year. This is a true story that happened to me.
Summary: no issues with the product so far really. only real drawback is if you get a big graphics card or pci-e device you cannot easily access all of my sata connections. got all my parts put together and everything seems to work like a charm.
Summary: Quite pleased with board. Only negatives are the SATA ports face horizontal, so I had to cut into a side facing HDD rack to get access to them; there is no USB 3.0 connector on the mobo, just the 2 ports on the rear panel.
