Summary: Bought this as a replacement for my 6yr. old MSI board that finally died (probably from a bad sata dvd drive). Everything is clearly marked, my liquid cooled fan setup did not cause any issues with my ram, not even close. "casual" user, but I do run Boinc WCG 7/24 and board is cool and has lots of usb outs, plus headers for expansion. 6 sata, as well. Oh, running an AMD Phenom II 6 core @ 3.0Ghz with 8gigs of ram.
Summary: I live in a house with 6 people all using wireless internet, due to this, the wireless is extremely slow. Previously I used an ethernet cord and my internet was responsive as can be. Unfortunately when this motherboard arrived, the ethernet port is broken. I didn't realize this until after a few weeks of use (at first I thought the cord had broken as it was several years old and had some wear and tear, I ordered a new one, it did not work, however it, and the first cord,...
Summary: Accidentally banged it a couple times while assembling and it still performs well with no noticeable ex or internal damage. Great value for price in my opinion and exellent MB for new PC builders such as myself.
Summary: This worked at first, although it reported a very high temperature for the CPU in the BIOS and to apps (using Linux Ubuntu 14.04). Fortunately, the audio stopped working, which gave me the opportunity to return it to Amazon without paying shipping, and I got a similar Asus instead. The Asus works perfectly, and reports a much more reasonable CPU temperature.
Summary: I bought this as a motherboard replacement to an old one that was finally retired. Being an AM3+ motherboard, I slapped a 6300 in it and it's been running great ever since. Be forewarned though, as I've heard that anything above an 8320 has given this motherboard power issues. For that, I have to dock it a star, but otherwise, it works perfectly as intended. The BIOS is great as always and it includes a nice GUI, mouse support, easy OCing, and even an internet browser.
