Good board

Sara G., Newegg
15 January 2012
  • Summary: Go into BIOS first thing and turn off Cool n' Quiet. This board should come with a variant w/o on-board graphics.
  • Pros: Does what you would expect from a MOBO in this price range. AMD overdrive allows for easy O.C.
  • Cons: None

Awesome mobo

Matthew B., Newegg
2 January 2012
  • Summary: I am disappointed that this mother board isnt FX compatible
  • Pros: I bought this motherboard, and was slightly concerned. However, I was extremely surprised how stable my computer is with AMD Phenom II x 4 and successfully got the processor to 4.2. Not only that but I took my OCZ 1333 up to 1800 Mhz, ran Prime 95 with no errors. Also, I accidentally dropped a ba...

Michael P., Newegg
13 December 2011
  • Summary: I've been using this for about 8 months now and it's still going great and I haven't had a single crash yet. I didn't understand what it was so I left this out of my first review, however I LOVE the FSB Overclock switch settings.
  • Pros: see other.
  • Cons: None.

Takes everything I throw at it!!

Andrew T., Newegg
22 October 2011
  • Summary: Wish I had bought one with an AM3+ slot, so I could throw in one of those new FX CPUs. I've reached the limit of RAM this can handle (16 GB) and need more. But neither of these are the fault of this MB. I should've gone to a higher price-point. I under-estimated my needs.
  • Pros: Very stable, great performance. Been running a high load application server and it barely breaks a sweat. Used up all the RAM slots, now going for more HDDs to set up a SATA
  • Cons: none

So far so Good

John P., Newegg
24 September 2011
  • Pros: Haven't had it running long, but I'm very happy so far. Paired with a dual-core processor and 8GB G.Skill Value Ram for a Linux based HTPC. Everything went together w/o a hitch.
  • Cons: None so far

Nice compact MB

Eyal S., Newegg
18 August 2011
  • Summary: I am running this MB with Phenom II X3 720. Although it can't unlock the fourth core (I guess it's caused by the 95W TDP limit), it's easy to oc from 2.8GHz to 3.4GHz.
  • Pros: inexpensive, good for a home desktop or HTPC.
  • Cons: don't trust the auto-OC. it could mess up the whole system.
