Summary: Paired with AMD Phenom II 2.8 GHz processor and GTX 260 SC Edition. Excellent machine.
Pros: USB 3.0, eSATA, 6.0 GB/s SATA, and military grade hardware. Bought this MB with a Phenom II 2.8 GHz for less than $200 after rebates at an electronics store. Can't beat that deal sine the processor costs that amount.
Cons: CPU fan was pegged out when I first built the machine. After lots of troubleshooting with AMD and MSI, it ended up being a BIOS setting for fan speed. Once I got that set, this machine has been a dream. Would not boot when certain USB devices were plugged in. It was my printer. That's what I get ...
Summary: Good price, great for first time builders,Bios should give better options to for voltages and RAM timings.
Pros: This board is great, This was my first build and it worked without a problem. I'm very pleased with the performance of the board.
Cons: The only con I have is that the Bios don't give you the freedom to tweak voltages. Unless I'm missing something and I don't think I am. RAM timings are not as in depth as they should be. <<<< lost an egg for this.
Summary: OK I thought I knew a good bit about this stuff, but I guess I don't. I was fixing to get this board for my first build, it has every thing I want in a board. But I have a spliter so I can run two pc's on one monitor and my mouse is a PS/2 but there is only a port for the keyboard and no mouse.

Summary: Don't buy if you want to Crossfire because only supports 8x/8x in dual configuration. You'll need the FX board for full 16x/16x. All in all, good board and a good buy
Pros: Well priced board with more than enough features for the semi tech-saavy to get by. CMOS reset button is useful, but see CONS
Cons: First off the book that comes with the board is garbage, throw it out and start Google'ing... Very long BIOS boot time is VERY frustrating. Unlike my last ASUS, this MSI boards does not revert back to last good BIOS config when the BIOS fails to POST. You have to re-open your case (if you have it...
Fine MB, only needs a minor update to work with 6 core processors
10 September 2009
Summary: Fine MB, indeed. Even it doesn't recognize the AMD Thuban 6 core processor when started, after updating its BIOS it worked truly good! BIOS updating can be done after the OS has been installed, but it would be better if you do it before.
Summary: Very good Motherboard and easy to assemble with AMD Phenom II Quad and Kingston Hyper X 1600(OC)8Gb Memory Chips. Running smooth and CrossFireX with ATI HD 5770 two cards with no problem. Best price for this MSI Motherboard and I am satisfied and highly recommend to build on this Board.
Summary: Well its been running for about 24-30hrs on and off so I think I have a pretty stable one. Also I have thrown a few of the stress tests at my CPU/GPU/RAM and ran Prime95 on torture for about 6.5 hours till I wanted to use the comp again. All in all, pretty good MoBo with AM3 and DDR3.
Pros: This one worked!!! WOOT!(see cons) Well this one worked right out of the box. recognized my AMD 945 right away and also set my ram to the right speeds/volts without any adjustments. Onboard sound card is a nice touch. Not really sure about the vid though since I got a combo with a 4890. Seems to ...
Cons: First one was DOA I am only subtracting one egg since this one is grand. I usually wouldn't since this one worked out great but it seems that of the last 15 or so reviews, at least half have had the same problem as me. So I am glad that the factory workers that were playing kick box with our prod...
Summary: Haven't bothered to OC yet, so I can't really vouch for that. But it has been solid as a rock with an AMD Phenom II x4 945/ATI 4890/2x2GB DDR3 Crucial Ballistix. I was worried about getting a DOA board based on so many other reviews, but luckily that was not the case.
